Review: Freshlook Colorblends Green

freshlook colorblends green

I'm excited to finally review Freshlook Colorblends Green. On my brown eyes, the color change is subtle, so if you want something more dramatic, this color isn't for you. If you're looking for vibrancy, I'd go with Colorblends Gemstone Green. Green vs. Gemstone Green Regular Green is for the natural look. A hazel inner ring blends nicely with naturally hazel eyes. Gemstone Green is more vibrant. It may be too over the top for some … [Read more...]

Are you a colored contacts fan looking for something new? I have to say, the choice of FDA approved color contact lenses in the U.S. over the past year has sadly dwindled. Ciba Vision, manufacturer of the ever popular Freshlook line, last year discontinued  a range of other, more specialized colored lenses, like Durasoft, Illusions, and Cibasoft. Freshlook Radiance disappeared the year before that. Read announcement I supposed the wave of … [Read more...]

Review of Splash of Color Aquatic Allure (Video)

splash of color blue aquatic allure contacts

I had a chance to try Splash of Color contact lenses recently in Aquatic Allure. They're available from Coastal.com in both vial and disposable. Overall, I thought they were quite comfortable. Very easy to put in. Occasionally, I noticed a blue tinge around the outside of my vision, a result of the lens moving around a bit as I blinked but that was all. The color itself is pretty vibrant. I wouldn't say these lenses are for day-to-day wear, … [Read more...]
