Forget subtle. Forget natural. For some of you, that means ‘boring’. If changing your eye color is all about making a statement—a big statement—then this post is for you.
Some color contacts brands are designed to deliver blazing and vivid eye color. These are the contacts you wear when you are in costume, either for Halloween or a cosplay event, or when you’re out clubbing. Any place you want people to stop and notice. Not many people where these brands as everyday colors…they’re just too intense.
By far the most popular drama contacts on ColorMeContacts are Clearly Colors from Coastal Contacts. These lenses come in seven shades in both Plano (0.00) and prescription powers.
Why are they favorites? I think it has to do with the price; around $20 for one lens (in vial), so about $40 for a pair. Because they are vial lenses they are good for daily wear up to six months. Follow your eye doctor’s recommendation.
Besides vivid color, Clearly Colors feature a dark limbal ring that defines the eye, making the eye seem larger.
Here’s a listing of the lens colors in order of popularity. I’d like to add photos so if you have some of yourself wearing Clearly Colors, by all means email me.
Aquatic Allure
Of the two blues, Aquatic Allure is the most popular. No it doesn’t have a light blue center as shown in the illustration (which is a little deceiving), but the color is a bright, Caribbean blue color. Very vivid.
Green Envy
This green is really bright and would work great for costumes and cosplay.
Amber Ambition
Recreating golden eyes from the movies is a bit of a fad these days and Amber Ambition will certainly do that for you.
Gray Storm
Gray is a very popular color right now, probably because it’s the lightest color in the palette. On some, gray can appear as a pale baby blue.
Violet Venom
Violet eyes aren’t for everyone, but I’ve got a soft spot for them. They work great for cosplay, especially if you’re into anime.
Blue n Brazen
The other Clearly Colors blue. A deep royal colour. Not really outstanding in any other way besides it’s intensity.
Brown Bombshell
The least popular color but still a rich alternative if you want a dark, chocolate color.

My question is–I always get my clearly color contacts from coastal contacts—They are no longer carrying them. Do you know of any other site that sales them??? Thanks
