Top 3 Amber Twilight Vampire Contact Lenses

By ColorGirl

Gold Vampire for the best twilight contact lenses

Are you a Twilight fan? Team Edward or Team Jacob? For the past few years, there’s been lots of fuss about these movies and lots of people asking me how to get the sexy amber eyes of the Twilight vampires.

Here’s a collection of photos from the net of real eyes wearing amber, honey or hazel contact lenses. However, remember, the results really depend on the color of your natural eye your skin tone and complexion.

Gold Vampire

Gold Vampire (the Fave)

This is a special effects contact lens (SFX Lens brand) that has been the number one selling vampire lens for the last three years. I think it’s the one that most resembles the Twlight vampire eyes.  SFX Lenses from Coastal Contacts are vial lenses (one per vial), FDA approved  and come in both Plan0 (zero power) and prescription powers. Once the vial is opened, SFX lenses are wearable up to one year, provided they are cleaned and stored correctly using multi-purpose solution and clean lens cases. One prescription for SFX lenses is good for Gold Vampire and over 100 different special effect contact lens styles.

 Triple Color Hazel

Triple Color Hazel

Triple Color Hazel is from a line of Plano (cosmetic or no correction) lenses from Turtle Contacts (a non-US supplier). Because they are not based in the U.S. you don’t need a prescription, however, you should still have an eye exam and contact lens fitting before ordering this or any contact lens. Triple Color Hazel has three colors, with the lightest surrounding the center pupil hole. A dark outer ring accentuates the iris.

Honey (Freshlook Colorblends)

Honey

Honey is the most golden of the Freshlook “browns” and the one I would choose from this brand to look more Twilightish (hmmm, new word?). Freshlook is the leading brand in color contacts–the ones people wear day-to-day, not just for costuming and parties. One prescription for Freshlook Colorblends  gives you the ability to try 11 different colors, including Honey.

You’re welcome! I saw from your blog that you were a Freshlook Ambassador. Do you still wear Freshlook contacts? Have a fave color?

Of course I do! Haha. I love Freshlook lenses in Grey – they are very pretty, and the dailies are really comfortable. Plus they don’t make me look like a blind person so I’m happy with that! : )

Awesome! Gray is such a trendy color at the moment. 🙂 And looks good with almost any complexion.
